Having been invited to participate in National Cheng Kung University’s Office of International Affairs (NCKUOIA ) Global Mobility Forum on 18th May, 2022, Ambassador Bowman’s speech entitled ‘The Importance of Taiwan’s Diplomatic Allies: Case Study Saint Vincent and the Grenadines ‘, was inspired by a 02/02/’22 FOCUS TAIWAN CNA feature article ‘Does Taiwan need diplomatic allies?’ Vincentian Ph.D candidate, Shemon Baptiste assisted our Ambassador in her presentation. The opportunity was also taken to present a copy of ‘The Green Legacy of St. Vincent and the Grenadines / The King’s Hill Forest Act of 1791 and The St. Vincent Botanic Garden ‘ to NCKU, one of the oldest universities and “the most academically comprehensive ” research university in Taiwan.
