Embassy of

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

in the Republic of China (Taiwan)

Welcome to the Embassy of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in the Republic of China (Taiwan)

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has been a diplomatic ally of Taiwan’s since 1981. This English-speaking country is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. It is located in the Lesser Antilles Island arc, in the southeast Windward Islands, which lie in the West Indies at the southern end of the eastern border of the Caribbean Sea where the latter meets the Atlantic Ocean. To the north of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines lies Saint Lucia, to the east is Barbados, and Grenada lies to the south. Departing from Taiwan, you must change at least two airlines, flying for about 20 hours in order to get to the 32 islands and cays which comprise Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. A round trip to and from this archipelagic country would take about five days. The time difference between Taiwan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is exactly 12 hours because these two countries lie at the opposite sides of the globe.
